Comet Holmes! Here is a couple of links for more info on it. Jim and I were able to see it tonight with the naked eye, although we used the binoculars also for an even better view.

OOH! I know about the pickle.
You're supposed to have a little "pickle present". The pickle ornament gets hidden deep in the tree. Because it matches the tree it's hard to find. The person who finds it wins the prize.
We never do the pickle prize thing even though we have a pickle. I like the idea of it but I never get around to it.
